Help Yetim Humanitarian Aid Organization completed its Ramadan 2021 activities with the slogan “Ramadan, the most beautiful month for sharing”. During Ramadan, Help Yetim delivered iftar, zakat, sacrifice, fitrah and feast donations of philanthropists from Europe and Turkey to thousands of orphans and the needy.

Help Yetim, which set up iftar tables during Ramadan, distributed water with water tankers and food distributions in famine regions, and delivered donors' zakat, sadaqah, fitrah and donations to those in need in crisis regions around the world, made orphans and those in need smile.

The newly established Help Yetim, with its experienced team, managed to distribute the donations of philanthropists in Europe and Turkey simultaneously in different countries without any problems despite the pandemic that continues to affect the world.

Help Yetim President Cahit Ataş said in a statement that they have carried out half organizations all over the world without any problems during Ramadan.

Stating that they focused on humanitarian aid organizations during Ramadan, Ataş said, “During Ramadan, we set up iftar tables every day in orphanages, refugee camps and areas where people in need live densely in about 25 countries. We did not forget the students studying in boarding schools in regions struggling with famine, especially in Africa, and we tried to meet their needs. By setting iftar tables in schools, we witnessed children eating meat for the first time.”

“We distributed water with water tankers”

Stating that they are struggling to meet the urgent water needs of people in hot and arid regions during Ramadan, Ataş said, “In Yemen, we helped the people struggling to draw water from water sources kilometers away during Ramadan with the support of our benefactors with water tankers. We tried to supply water to meet their needs during Ramadan and now we have well projects for those regions. Apart from that, we have similar practices in certain regions of Africa. We distributed water with water tankers.”

“We made orphan children smile by delivering their Eid gifts”

Stating that they distributed Eid al-Fitr gifts in orphanages in Africa on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, Ataş continued as follows:

“We made orphan children in dozens of orphanages under our auspices smile by delivering their Eid gifts. Eid clothes and toys were bought and distributed to the children. The places where the children stayed were cleaned. We continue to provide regular aid for the supplies of orphanages.”

Ataş stated that the meat of the charity, healing and votive sacrifices slaughtered by philanthropists during Ramadan was chopped and packaged appropriately and distributed to the houses one by one.

“We plan to give people a profession”

Pointing out that Help Yetim continues to work for projects that can meet the needs of people in different geographies, especially in Africa, the Middle East and different geographies by expanding its working area, Ataş said, “As Help Yetim, we have building projects such as schools, orphanages and mosques in different geographies. Apart from that, we have projects in areas where people can meet their daily needs. In our ongoing livestock project, we are trying to provide people with small sheep and goats and provide them with the opportunity to make a living with their milk. Apart from that, we have projects related to vocational courses. We plan to provide people with a profession.”
