Help Yetim Humanitarian Aid Organization brought hope to hundreds of people in need through its aid activities in the provinces of Hakkari and Van in eastern Turkey. The projects, carried out with the participation of Help Yetim President Cahit Ataş and his team of volunteers from Germany, strengthened social solidarity in the region.

In Hakkari, the Ministry of Youth and Sports provided food to families in need, clothing and scholarships to students, and wheelchairs to people with disabilities through the Youth Centers in Yüksekova, Şemdinli, and Derecik districts.

As part of the Tree of Kindness Project, basic food aid was delivered to 128 families in need.

As part of the Shining Stars of the Region Project, 100 students attending three different schools were given clothing vouchers for winter clothes and school supplies to support their education.

As part of the Wheels for Life Project, wheelchairs were distributed to 15 people with limited mobility to improve their quality of life.

Under the Orphan Scholarships project, 17 students attending university and science high schools received orphan scholarship support as part of future-oriented initiatives.

In Van province, aid efforts were carried out through two significant projects:

Under the Food for Those Waiting on the Road project, basic food packages were distributed to 110 families. As part of the Let's Be a Warm Hand Project, 100 students in Van were provided with clothing vouchers to meet their winter clothing and shoe needs.

Help Orphans President Cahit Ataş, who personally monitored the aid efforts on site, emphasized the importance of philanthropy in a statement following his visits to the region:

We set out with the understanding that “one should not sleep well when their neighbor is hungry” and with the desire to share what we have. Our greatest goal is to feed the hungry and bring happiness to their faces. That is why we deliver our food packages with the slogan “Set a table too” to contribute to the tables of our local community. The support of our benefactors is very valuable to us. We will continue to reach more people and touch their lives with our voluntary efforts."
