Help Yetim Humanitarian Aid Organization, which has opened water wells in many countries of Africa and has been providing aid such as schools, mosques and orphanages, as well as food and sacrificial meat distribution, continues its “livestock distribution project” launched to contribute to the poor in Africa.

Help volunteers distribute goats to families in the rural areas of Encemine, the capital and largest city of Chad, and teach families how to make cheese, yogurt and butter from goat milk.

Cahit Ataş, President of Help Yetim Humanitarian Aid Organization, told AA correspondent that they provided goat support to thousands of families in Africa within the framework of the “live animal distribution project”.

Stating that they also distributed live dairy goats in Chad within the scope of the project, Ataş stated that their aim is to support animal husbandry.

Ataş said, “We had such a project in order to cover the expenses of families. Within the scope of our project, we give one male and one female live milk goat to a family. For 2 years, we set a condition not to sell or slaughter them. If these animals are fed regularly, their number will increase to 8 after 2 years.”
