Expats in Europe donated food parcels and clothes to disadvantaged families living in Silopi district of Şırnak through Help Orphan and Humanitarian Aid Organization.

The non-governmental organization, headquartered in Europe, delivered food parcels to 25 disadvantaged families and clothing aid to 84 individuals identified in the district with the donations of charitable expatriates.

Cahit Ataş, President of Help Orphan and Humanitarian Aid Organization, said in a statement that they provide humanitarian aid to the disadvantaged families they identified in Turkey with the support of philanthropists as well as the needy people living in African and Asian countries.

Stating that they recently carried out aid activities in Silopi district, Ataş said:

“As an aid organization, we deliver the donations we receive from philanthropists. We constantly receive support from our expatriate citizens in Turkey, Europe or various countries of the world. Our aim is to build a bridge of help and heart between people. Our activities in every field continue without limits. We fulfill our duty by stepping in with our aid volunteers in situations such as health, education, clothing, food, water wells, disasters or landslides. In this context, we would like to thank the philanthropists who donated to us. We will always reach out to people in need both in Şırnak and in different regions of Turkey.”
