Help Yetim Humanitarian Aid Organization, known for its relief activities across Turkey and Europe, has recently extended its efforts to Silopi, a district in Şırnak province. Volunteers provided essential aid, including boots, coats, and school supplies to local families and students.
At Silopi İmam Hatip Middle School, 30 students received school uniforms and backpacks. The students expressed their gratitude for the donations. In addition, the volunteers focused on the village of Başverimli in Silopi, distributing winter clothing and food assistance.
Cahit Ataş, President of Help Yetim, emphasized the significance of this aid, highlighting that thanks to the generosity of donors from Turkey and Europe, they were able to provide food to 13 families, winter wear (boots and coats) to 20 children, and even repair part of one family’s home. He stated:
“With the support of our donors in Europe and Turkey, we have been able to help the most vulnerable people at the Habur Border Gate, delivering food and clothing to those in need. We are grateful to all our donors for making this possible.”
