Help Yetim Humanitarian Aid Organization, which carries out health, shelter, food distribution and emergency humanitarian aid activities in many regions of Asia and Africa, also opens water wells with the donations of philanthropists in regions where there is thirst.

With the donation of an expatriate family living in Europe, the water needs of African Muslims were met thanks to the well drilled in the region where 650 people live in rural Encemine.

Cahit Ataş, President of Help Yetim Humanitarian Aid Organization, told reporters that they carry out various aid activities, the most important of which is to open water wells.

Ataş stated that they carry out their activities uninterruptedly through the helpers who donated to them, and finally, they opened a water well under the name of “Yunus Emre” in the town of Chegemen in the countryside of Encemine, the capital of Chad.

“650 people live in this town and there are nearly 250 children. They travel kilometers to bring clean water in jerry cans.” Ataş emphasized the importance of water for them.

“They will no longer walk far to fetch water, they will no longer drink dirty water. Because the dirty water they drank carried germs, their bellies swelled and caused various diseases. Many people died and had health problems because of the dirty water they drank. We would like to thank the Öztürk family who donated to us from Europe. With their donations, we were able to open a water well here.”

Stating that the activities continue uninterruptedly in Asia and Africa, Ataş noted that those who want to open a water well with their donations can contact them.

Ataş said, “We have met the water well needs of hundreds of thousands of people in Africa and Asia. We thank those who donated.”
